We work with formal or informal partnerships looking to develop a collective strategy, build shared systems and tools, and share insights and learning. We often work at the interface between the private, public and voluntary sectors and enjoy brokering effective partnerships though identifying shared social purpose goals and realistic plans for achieving them.
Collaboratives we have worked with include:
Commissioned services
We have worked with partnerships delivering borough wide wellbeing services and looking to develop a shared impact strategy. This has included: The Community Independent Living Service (CILS), a partnership of 20 local voluntary organisations supporting vulnerable people across Richmond; and Enable, a charity organising a wide range of services across Wandsworth (covering everything from managing local parks to organising local health programmes and staging community events).
Grant funded partnerships
The Skills Collaborative is a partnership of three pro bono skills providers funded by the Oak Foundation. We supported the development of a strategic framework and conducted interviews with the charities benefiting from the collective pro bono skills offer, to inform the development of more effective partnership working as well as impact reporting to the funder.
Peer to peer learning
Our work with CILS involved sharing monitoring and evaluation systems across the partnership. We have also facilitated a peer to peer learning programme with 12 Lloyds Bank Foundation grantees to share experience and learning around user involvement strategy and practice.
I had the pleasure of working with Anna as a Lloyds Bank Foundation grantee. Anna skillfully brought together us and 11 other small charities (all working with vulnerable, marginalised beneficiaries) to collaborate on developing best practice approaches to Service User Involvement. We utilised the learning and guidance from our time with Anna, to shape a successful five year funding bid for a dedicated post to develop our User Involvement strategy.
