The Challenge – How do you know if you’re making a difference?
Your strategic plan is in place, you know that action learning is key to good governance and leadership but are having difficulty implementing it. How can you improve your systems and tools to play a more meaningful role in strategy and planning?

Our Approach – Action learning
Once a strategic plan is in place, we support organisations to adopt a positive and open approach to implementation – celebrating strengths, understanding weaknesses and continually looking for opportunities to learn and improve.  This can involve co-developing meaningful measurement and evaluation systems; or advising on ways to ensure that decision making is continually informed by the views and experience of your key stakeholders – including people living with the issues you are trying to address. As we often work with small (and user-led) charities, one of our driving principles is to model proportionate and practical approaches to action learning that organisations can continue to use themselves.

Key Outcome – A culture of improvement
Improving your evaluation systems and tools will generate more meaningful data and inspire a culture of learning.

“I have found it ever so helpful that we have been able to work with a long term learning partner. We love a good question at Pilotlight. So, what matters is to understand our impact and learn as we go, in terms of building quality into our work from start to finish. The constructive rigour and independent thinking of Cornish Grey is a brilliant offer for any organisation that likes questions… and answers.”
